Job Summary

As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Your role will involve a variety of tasks including serving food and beverages, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. You will play a crucial part in creating an enjoyable dining experience for our customers.

Duties

Greet and welcome customers as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and positive first impression. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilising basic math skills for billing. Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards. Assist in food preparation as needed, demonstrating kitchen experience and culinary skills. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and service stations. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer concerns promptly. Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for the role is key. Strong understanding of food safety practices. Experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour
