We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including food preparation, serving, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanour. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and beverages to customers, providing recommendations and upselling where appropriate. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and service counters. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle cash transactions and assist with basic math calculations for billing purposes. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed promptly during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service. A passion for food preparation and an eagerness to learn about culinary offerings. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours. Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
