Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly atmosphere. Assist guests with menu selections and provide recommendations to enhance their dining experience through upselling techniques. Take and process orders accurately while adhering to food safety standards. Prepare and serve food items as required, ensuring high standards of culinary presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control. Perform basic maths calculations for order processing and payments.

Requirements

Proven experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Basic knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards guests and team members alike. A keen interest in culinary arts or food preparation is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's operational needs.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
