Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they enter until their departure. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing orders and assisting with food preparation.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and dining spaces. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records using basic maths skills. Provide assistance to guests throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly disposition. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. A passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests.

Pay: From 12.25 per hour
