Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive until they leave. Your primary focus will be on creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing orders and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly attitude. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Assist in food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, demonstrating excellent serving skills. Uphold food safety regulations by ensuring proper handling, storage, and preparation of food items. Manage cash transactions and maintain accurate records using basic math skills. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness in the front of house area, including tables, floors, and service stations. Demonstrate effective time management skills to prioritise tasks during peak hours.

Experience

Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in a front of house role. Experience in food preparation or culinary settings is advantageous. Familiarity with food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Basic math skills are required for handling cash transactions accurately. Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A passion for customer service with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
