Job Summary

We at Lets Fry - Gloucester are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, taking orders, and upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience. Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary. Assist in food preparation and presentation to maintain high culinary standards. Manage cash transactions and handle payments with basic maths skills. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and service counters. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food served. Upsell menu items to maximise guest satisfaction and enhance their dining experience. Address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Basic culinary knowledge or interest in food preparation is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic environment. A willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as required.
