Job Summary

As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional service to our guests. Your role will involve engaging with customers, taking orders, and ensuring that their dining experience is memorable. You will also assist in food preparation and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome customers as they arrive, ensuring a friendly atmosphere. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when appropriate. Prepare food items according to established recipes and food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and dining areas. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets our standards. Handle cash and process payments accurately, utilising basic math skills for transactions. Assist with upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, particularly regarding food safety practices.

Experience

Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in a front of house role. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is beneficial. Experience in serving customers with a strong emphasis on time management skills. Knowledge of food safety regulations to ensure compliance within the establishment. Pay: 13.85-14.15 per hour
