We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House Team Members to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be the welcoming face of our establishment, providing exceptional service and ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The position involves engaging with customers, supporting food service operations, and maintaining a clean and organised environment. Previous restaurant or food service experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. All roles are paid, including internship positions, ensuring fair compensation for your efforts.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and manage their seating arrangements efficiently
Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene
Assist in food preparation tasks as required, adhering to food safety standards
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
Support team members in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
Skills
Experience in restaurant service or food preparation is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for those new to hospitality
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing bills accurately
Previous kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not essential
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during peak hours
Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
Organised with a keen eye for detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
