Job Description

The Lodge on Loch Lomond Hotel, situated in the village of Luss, is looking for experienced full-time and part-time bar, waiting, conference and banqueting assistants for our busy bar, lounge, restaurant and function suites.

You are required to be polite, well groomed, providing the highest level of service for our guests, with a good eye for detail and excellent customer service skills, while working in a fast paced environment. You will need to be confident when taking guest's orders, when delivering food & drinks and be able to make recommendations.

Your main duties are:

To serve food and drinks to our guests in our lounge, bar, restaurant and function suites, ensuring all guest requests and enquiries are responded to in a timely, professional and friendly manner To communicate and work effectively within our teams to ensure every guest leaves wanting to come back Ensure all cash, room charges, floats and till procedures are carried out correctly (care and attention to detail is key) ensure all areas are kept clean and sanitised to our required levels, tables being cleared, cleaned and reset promptly. Assist with the preparation, decoration and setting of function suites also the clearing and cleaning of the room at the end of a function as required. Our bar tenders should to be confident mixologists To maintain the cleanliness of all public areas adhere to all health & safety requirements
Previous waiting/bar/barista experience would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given in all areas.

Own transport required due to our location and limited public transport

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 9.50-12.21 per hour
