Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, assisting with food and drink service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. This role offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant hospitality environment, supporting both event and restaurant operations. Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or food preparation is desirable, along with a passion for providing exceptional service to guests.

Responsibilities

Serve food and beverages to customers in a courteous and professional manner Assist with food preparation and presentation as required Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and service stations Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations Support barista duties if applicable, including preparing coffee and other beverages Restock supplies and assist with inventory management Provide friendly assistance to guests, addressing any special dietary needs or requests Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Qualifications

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Experience in restaurant and/or event service is preferred Barista experience is a plus but not essential Excellent communication skills and a welcoming attitude Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment A friendly personality with a keen eye for detail and customer satisfaction Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends or evenings if necessary
