Job Summary

The Food and Beverage Assistant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service to guests within the hospitality environment. Duties

Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including dining spaces and kitchen facilities. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Support bartending duties as required, including mixing drinks and serving cocktails. Collaborate with catering teams for events, ensuring timely service and satisfaction of guests. Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing assistance as needed. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to food preparation and service.

Skills

Strong understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Experience in bartending or working within a restaurant environment is advantageous. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on guest satisfaction.
