Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. You will assist in various aspects of food and beverage service, including preparation, presentation, and customer interaction within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages in accordance with established standards. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and responding to guest inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, ensuring all tables are set up correctly and promptly cleared after use. Support catering events by setting up buffet stations or assisting with special requests from guests. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards to ensure the health and safety of all patrons. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any issues that may arise during service. Assist with bartending duties as required, including mixing drinks and serving alcoholic beverages responsibly.
We have an exciting opportunity to come and join the team at the Manor Hotel, Elstree. We're a 49 bedroom hotel with extensive facilities on the estate.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is crucial. Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs. A passion for providing excellent customer service and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
