Job Summary

We are seeking a local from Ely between an age range of 17 and 19, who is dedicated and an enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring that food and beverage operations run smoothly. You will assist in various areas, including food preparation, catering services, and bartending, contributing to an enjoyable dining experience for all patrons.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages according to established standards. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and serving food and drinks promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, kitchen, and bar. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Support catering events by setting up, serving, and clearing away food and drink items. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, providing solutions as needed. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of food and beverage supplies.

Skills

Strong background in hospitality with a focus on customer service excellence. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Experience in restaurant or catering environments is highly desirable. Bartending skills are a plus for those interested in beverage service. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and colleagues. Capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
