Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food service environments. This role involves supporting the smooth operation of our catering and restaurant services, ensuring guests receive a memorable dining experience. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, serving, and food safety within a dynamic hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner Assist in food preparation tasks as required, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety Set up dining areas, including tables, chairs, and serving stations before service Take orders accurately and handle transactions efficiently at the point of sale Ensure all food safety protocols are adhered to at all times Support catering events by preparing and serving food and drinks as needed Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations throughout shifts Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service and ensure guest satisfaction

Requirements

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is desirable Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices Experience with food preparation or working in a restaurant environment is advantageous Barista experience is a plus but not essential Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings if required A professional attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 25,500.00-26,619.67 per year
