Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring a high-quality dining experience for our guests. You will assist in food preparation, bartending, and providing exceptional hospitality within our restaurant and catering services. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards. Provide support in bartending duties, including mixing drinks and serving beverages to guests. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Help set up for events and catering services, ensuring all necessary items are ready for service. Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations during service periods. Assist in restocking supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen is well-equipped at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is advantageous. Basic bartending skills are a plus; willingness to learn is essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service to guests. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
