Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. You will assist in various aspects of food and beverage service, from preparation to presentation, while adhering to the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages in accordance with established standards. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and responding to guest inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Support bartending activities by preparing drinks as per recipes and assisting with inventory management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special dietary requirements. Assist in catering events by setting up dining areas, serving guests, and clearing tables post-service. Uphold food safety standards throughout all stages of food handling and service.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential. Bartending experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong communication skills with the ability to work well within a team. A proactive attitude towards helping guests and ensuring their satisfaction. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A passion for food preparation and catering services is highly desirable.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 40 per week
