Job Summary

The Food and Beverage Assistant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our guests. This position involves assisting with various tasks related to food and beverage service, ensuring a high standard of hospitality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and drink, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the presentation of food and beverages, maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience. Support catering events by setting up and clearing away tables, serving food, and managing guest requests. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices at all times. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their needs promptly.

Skills

Previous experience in catering or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards. Barista experience is an advantage for those interested in beverage service. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the food and beverage industry.
