The Food and Beverage Assistant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service within our establishment. This position involves assisting with the preparation and serving of food and beverages, ensuring a high standard of hospitality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, well-organised, and possess a passion for the food and beverage industry.

Duties

Assist in the preparation of food items in accordance with safety and hygiene standards. Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring prompt and courteous service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, kitchens, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle catering requests for events, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly. Provide support to baristas in preparing coffee and other beverages as required. Uphold food safety regulations to guarantee the health and safety of all guests.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and catering services. Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence. Familiarity with food safety practices to maintain high hygiene standards. Barista experience is an advantage, particularly in coffee preparation. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
