We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to oversee the daily operations here at The Tempus. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service standards, maintaining food safety compliance, and leading a dedicated team. Duties
Supervise and coordinate all food and beverage services, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.
Lead, motivate, and manage team including bar, restaurant front of house, and baristas to optimise team performance.
Rota team to the needs of the business, closely monitoring labour costs.
Work closely and collaboratively with the Head Chef to ensure a seamless delivery of service for guests
Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Create team incentives to upsell additional items to maximise revenue
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper documentation.
Organise team training sessions, and performance reviews to foster professional development.
Monitor inventory levels for the bar, order supplies as needed, and control costs effectively.
Handle customer feedback professionally to resolve issues promptly and maintain positive relationships.
Hotel Duty Manager shifts along with HOD's on a rota basis
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant or hotel management with a strong background in food service operations.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices.
Supervising experience with demonstrated team management skills.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on motivating teams and fostering a positive work environment.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Previous experience in hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous.
Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and customers. This role is ideal for a proactive leader passionate about delivering outstanding dining experiences while maintaining operational excellence within the hospitality industry.
