We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service standards, maintaining food safety, and leading a team of dedicated staff. Duties
Supervise and coordinate all food and beverage operations to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction
Manage kitchen activities including food preparation, cooking, and food production to meet operational standards
Oversee staff scheduling, training, and development to foster a motivated and efficient team
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards across all areas
Assist in menu planning, pricing, and inventory control to optimise profitability
Monitor service delivery in restaurants, bars, or event spaces, ensuring seamless guest experiences
Lead by example in hospitality excellence, providing leadership during busy periods and resolving customer concerns promptly
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the timely procurement of quality ingredients and supplies
Organise staff meetings and training sessions on culinary techniques, food safety, and customer service
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant or hotel management with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
Supervising experience with demonstrated team management skills
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations applicable within the hospitality industry
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Experience in culinary arts, including food production and serving techniques
Familiarity with hospitality software systems for reservations, inventory management, and staff scheduling is desirable
Previous experience as a barista or in bar management is advantageous but not essential
Exceptional communication skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
