Normanton Park Hotel is a magnificent grade 2 listed courtyard hotel and events venue located right on the shore of Rutland Water. Offering the perfect combination of English heritage and modern luxury, with natural beauty and charm. The 18th century Hotel houses 3o bedrooms, The Clock Restaurant, The Conservatory casual dining restaurant and 2 event spaces for 20-150 guests. We are currently looking for the right candidate to fulfil the position of Food & Beverage Manager.
As the Food & Beverage Manager you will oversee the Food & Beverage operation and team at Normanton Park, taking responsibility for ensuring high standards of service are consistently delivered to guests at all times.
The successful candidate will be a natural leader supporting the rest of the team to ensure they create wonderful memories for all of our guests, whether they are dining in our casual restaurant, enjoying formal dining in The Clock or attending a wedding/event at Normanton Park. They will have the ability to encourage and motivate a team, and an outstanding passion and knowledge of all things food and beverage related.
Roles & Responsibilities include;
Working closely with other department heads regarding hotel, restaurant and event operations.
Being a hands-on manager, and ensuring the team provides an excellent guest experience to all guests.
Managing day to day food & beverage operations in restaurants, bar areas and for weddings/events.
Dealing with any issues and complaints which may arise confidently and efficiently.
Assisting with stocktaking, stock ordering and any maintenance calls
Managing the supervision and upkeep of service areas: restaurants, bars, events spaces and back of house areas.
Interviewing candidates for the food and beverage team when required.
Requirements;
A minimum of 2 years experience in a food & beverage, restaurant or operations management position within the hospitality industry.
Excellent customer service with an ability to recognize how to exceed expectations.
Excellent people skills, with the ability to motivate, lead and develop a team.
A passion for, and in-depth knowledge of high quality Food and Beverage.
Attention to detail is vital.
A very hands on operator
Awareness of health & safety and food hygiene legislation.

Pay: 30,000.00-31,000.00 per year
