Summary

We are seeking a Food Service Associate to join our dynamic team at Mercure Hotel in the heart of the hospitality industry. This role is essential in delivering outstanding guest experiences and ensuring high standards of food service and safety.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to guests in a friendly and efficient manner. Assist with food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety standards. Serve food and beverages while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain inventory of supplies and assist with restocking as needed. Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team setting. Basic math skills for handling transactions. Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently. A passion for providing exceptional guest services.
