We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest services while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.

Duties

Provide exceptional hospitality to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience. Assist in food preparation and presentation according to established recipes and standards. Serve food and beverages efficiently, adhering to food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, dining area, and equipment. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments. Engage with guests to promote menu items and upsell specials. Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Basic culinary skills or kitchen experience would be advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
