The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining services. Duties
Supervise and coordinate daily food and beverage operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
Train, mentor, and manage team members to maintain high standards of service.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
Assist in menu planning and food production to meet guest expectations.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain stock.
Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
Managing staff hours, adjusting shifts when required, and assigning closing tasks to team members.
Manage booking and reservation requests, and assign tables according to guests' specific needs and preferences.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and culinary arts.
Strong supervising experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable.
Excellent team management skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Experience in kitchen operations, including barista skills, is an advantage.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and enhance team performance.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the food industry and possess the necessary skills to lead a dynamic team while ensuring outstanding service delivery.
Upon a successful interview, you will be invited for a short trial shift (a few hours) so that we can show you around and assess how well you fit within the team. If all goes well, we may be able to offer you a full-time position following a probation period.

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour
