We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our food and beverage services, ensuring exceptional customer experiences while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient operations.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock to minimise waste.
Train, mentor, and develop team members in food production techniques and customer service excellence.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety practices.
Collaborate with management to create menus that reflect seasonal offerings and customer preferences.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry.
Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Background in hospitality or restaurant management is highly desirable.
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Experience in kitchen operations, including barista skills or hotel experience is an advantage.
Exceptional communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.
