The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage service areas, ensuring high standards of quality, service, and guest satisfaction. This role supports the Food and Beverage Manager in supervising staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operations of the restaurant, bar, or banquet areas.
Ensure guests receive excellent service and resolve any customer complaints efficiently.
Train, schedule, and support F&B team members to ensure smooth service.
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback or coaching when needed.
Assist in inventory control and ordering of supplies.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to improve service flow.
Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Handle opening and closing duties, including cash handling and shift reports.
Support in organizing and managing events, functions, and large bookings.
Maintain a professional and positive work environment for staff and guests.
Qualifications:
Hospitality management or related certification is a plus.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in food and beverage service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications (MS Office).
Understanding of health and safety regulations (e.g., food handling, alcohol service laws).
