Key tasks and accountability

This role is a year round role

To assist effective supervision of delivery of Restaurant service To act as a Duty Manager as required To promote a customer service focused culture To assist in the management outcomes, customer reviews etc To ensure the use of current standard operating procedures Acting as an ambassador for the business To ensure the effective supervision, motivation, training and development for the team

Experience

Hotel, restaurant, pub or barista experience preferred Enthusiasm to progress Eager to learn Experience working in busy working environment

Days / Hours

Hours to cover Lunch and Dinner, midweek and weekends.

The Bell, in the village of Ticehurst is an award winning boutique hotel, pub, restaurant and wedding venue situated on the Kent/Sussex border Multi award winning and an AA 5 star Gold Accreditation. Recently awarded 2 AA Rosettes in our kitchen 50 seat restaurant renowned for serving contemporary English food, 11 bedrooms including 4 lodges, based on local Oast houses. Popular venue for weddings for up to 80 guests, intimate dinners, parties, lunches and gatherings. Comedy/film nights, Spring & Winter fairs along with a Summer music festival. Recently opened up 5 more garden rooms, totalling us to 16 rooms. Just opened for the summer our outdoor kitchen 'the smithy' and horsebox bar.
