Food and Beverage Supervisor

We are looking for a Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Kilnwick Percy Resort in Pocklington, York. Rates of pay to be discussed upon application.

This is a permanent position to work full time hours. This will be 35 hours across variable days which will include weekends and bank holidays.

Typical shift times would be 7am - 3pm, 3pm - close, 11am - 9pm, these hours may change during busier periods.

Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.

About the role

Main responsibilities:

The successful Food and Beverage Supervisor will

\xc2\xb7 Work closely with the resorts experienced Food and Beverage Manager.

\xc2\xb7 Take responsibility for the bar and restaurant areas.

\xc2\xb7 Take responsibility of the food and beverage team in the absence of the Food and Beverage Manager.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure the department runs efficiently.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure exceptional cleanliness and presentation of all areas within the department.

\xc2\xb7 Work with the Front of House team to ensure motivation is high and required training is completed.

\xc2\xb7 Assist with efficient stock rotation and assist with the ordering of stock.

\xc2\xb7 Take and serve food and drink orders.

\xc2\xb7 Collect glasses and tableware.

Requirements:

Similar previous experience is preferred. Positive work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills. A driving licence and the ability to drive is an advantage to enable easy travel to and from the resort.
