is looking for a Food and Textiles Technician G5 to join our fantastic team. Could this be you?


Actual Salary 19,330 to 19,636 per annum (Grade 5)


This job isfor 32.5 hours per week and 39 weeks per year.


It is offered on a Permanent basis.


Approximate start date 26/01/2026.


Interviews: Week commencing 12-Jan-2026


We are looking for someone who can

Provide administrative and practical support to teaching staff in the department. Support the teaching staff within designated subject areas/departments to ensure the safe and proper use and maintenance of resources and equipment. Assist the designated class teachers/s or subject leader plan and deliver schemes of work. Care and maintenance of large/small kitchen and sewing equipment (including fault finding) Supervising students in kitchens and workshops

Skills and Personal Qualities we require you to have are:

Excellent administrative and organisational skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Calm under pressure Quick Learner Flexible and adaptable Practical skills related to cooking and sewing Willingness to carry out domestic tasks e.g. washing up and laundry

Working days/ pattern - Monday to Friday 08:30 until 15:00
