Requirements:
The ideal person will have at least a year's experience in a similar position and will have the ability to deliver great service to our guests.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, that is reliable and willing to learn as part of this growing team.
For the right candidate we may offer permanent contracts.
Duties will include:
Setting up and arranging tables and assisting with the preparation of event spaces
Greeting guests as they arrive at the venue, directing guests to tables, providing menus and taking orders
Taking drinks orders and serving drinks to guests at their table or throughout the
venue
Excellent food service skills delivering food from the kitchen to guests at the table, including the ability to carry three plates and to deliver drinks on trays
Opening wine bottles at the table and pouring drinks for guests
Actively promoting the F&B outlets and keeping up-to-date with the latest menus and offerings.
Embracing every opportunity to enhance guest service and maximise sales in a discreet and professional manner.
Maintaining a clean and well-groomed appearance, keeping to the uniform standards as given.
Maintaining the presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene of the food and beverage area at all times, undertaking regular checks of the area, to ensure the facilities are appropriately presented and cleared to a high standard, and undertake cleaning duties as detailed in cleaning rotas
Maintaining good housekeeping practices; ensuring a safe, clean, tidy and pleasant working environment.
Wiping down tables and chairs, removing rubbish and clearing event spaces, and keeping customers and work areas clean with a Clean As You Go standard adherence
Handling minor complaints in a professional and courteous manner and providing appropriate solutions.
Be aware of the need to observe Health and Safety regulations and advise management of any irregularities.
Ability to work well with other team members and to follow directions from supervisors- Experience in bartending or mixing drinks is a plus.
Familiarity with restaurant operations and procedures
