F&B Assistant - Elements & Palm House

REPORTING TO:

Elements Restaurant Manager

HOURS:

Full-time, varied shifts primarily 4-5 days out of 7, We aim to provide Mon-Fri working pattern with this role however as we are a seven-day-a-week operation, there may be times when weekend cover is needed.

JOB LOCATION:

Elements & Palm House, The Thermal Village, Galgorm.

SALARY:

Pay scale 12.21 - 13.71

About the role:

We are seeking to recruit a dedicated, enthusiastic supervisor to join our Thermal Village management team. You will assist with the management of all day-to-day operational issues relating to the food & beverage service within Elements and The Palm House.





We are seeking someone with a passion for hospitality and the ambition to progress within an award-winning company.

The main duties will include but are not limited to;

Welcoming all guests to the restaurant in a friendly, polite manner. With training, have full and complete knowledge of all food/beverage and wine menus enabling you to help with any guest queries. Present menus, take orders, and serve food and beverage professionally and efficiently ensuring our guests have everything they need. Cleaning and resetting tables and keeping all areas of the restaurant neat and tidy. Using the restaurant till systems to place orders and process customer payments correctly. Carrying out daily duties as required by the restaurant management team. Directing any guest complaints to the Restaurant Manager. Ensuring that your knowledge of the Resort and facilities is up to date in order to upsell to guests if the opportunity arises. Making sure your personal appearance and uniform are in line with the required Resort standards at all times. Observe all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations. Attend any training that has been set up to aid your personal development.

Have a passion for the hospitality industry, great food, and great service.

Have a least 1 year of previous waiting experience.

Be an excellent team player with a positive and friendly attitude. Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work evenings and weekends. Have strong communication skills and be able to multi-task. Have a sense of pride in the delivery of high standards of presentation and the Galgorm Collection brand.
