Job Title: Food and Beverage Assistant


Location: Lough Erne Resort, Enniskillen, Northern Ireland


Reports to: Food & Beverage Manager


Job Summary:


Lough Erne Resort is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our Food & Beverage team as Food and Beverage Assistants. In this role, you will deliver exceptional service to all guests, ensuring they have a memorable dining experience. This position involves serving food and beverages, attending to guest needs, and maintaining a high standard of service in line with the resort's luxury reputation.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities:


Greet and seat guests in a polite and friendly manner. Present menus, answer questions, and provide recommendations based on guests' preferences. Take accurate orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen and bar staff. Serve food and beverages in a timely, efficient, and professional manner. Clear tables and ensure the dining area is kept clean and tidy throughout service. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and resolving any issues. Maintain knowledge of the resort's menu offerings, including daily specials and promotions. Follow health and safety standards, including food hygiene regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction. Assist with setting up and closing down the restaurant or function areas as required.

Skills & Experience Required:


Previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant, hotel, or resort is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work well as part of a team and to follow instructions. A positive attitude and passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
