Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and service. Shift patterns are from 6am till 12noon and 4pm till 10pm

Duties

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages in accordance with established standards. Provide attentive and friendly service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently. Support catering events by setting up, serving, and clearing food and beverage stations as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, kitchen, and storage spaces. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and adherence to food safety regulations. Handle transactions accurately and assist in managing inventory levels for food and beverages. Engage with guests to enhance their experience, taking feedback constructively to improve service quality. Demonstrate barista skills by preparing coffee and other beverages when required.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and catering services will be advantageous. A strong understanding of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience as a server or barista will be beneficial in delivering excellent customer service. Candidates should demonstrate effective communication skills, teamwork, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 30 per week
