Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests, providing support in various areas including food preparation, service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen interest in the food and beverage industry.

Duties

Assist in the preparation of food items according to established recipes and standards. Support the front-of-house team by serving food and beverages to guests in a timely manner. Ensure that all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment. Help with setting up dining areas for events, including catering services. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest inquiries and requests. Assist with bartending duties as needed, including mixing drinks and serving beverages. Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge within the hospitality sector.

Skills

Previous experience in food preparation or within a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous. Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A proactive attitude towards helping others and providing exceptional service. Basic bartending skills would be beneficial but not essential; willingness to learn is key. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
