Part time: 2-3 days per week

JOB LOCATION:

Parisien Belfast BT1 5GA (opposite the City Hall)

SALARY: 12.21-13.71 per hour pay scale

About the role:

We are seeking to recruit a new experience part-time F&B/Bar-Person to join our fun front-of-house team in Parisien Belfast. This is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming team that believes the guest is at the centre of everything we do!

Main duties will include, but are not limited to:

Welcoming all guests to the restaurant in a friendly, polite manner. With training, have full and complete knowledge of all food/beverage and wine menus enabling you to help with any guest queries. Present menus, take orders and serve food and beverage professionally and efficiently ensuring our guests have everything they need. Cleaning and resetting tables and keeping all areas of the restaurant neat and tidy. Mixing and serving up all hot and cold beverages in the restaurant dispense bar during service ensuring all beverages are delivered on time. Using the restaurant till systems to place orders and process customer payments correctly. Carrying out daily duties as required by the restaurant management team. Directing any guest complaints to the Restaurant Manager. Ensuring that your knowledge of the Resort and facilities is up to date in order to upsell to guests if the opportunity arises. Make sure your personal appearance and uniform are in line with the required Resort standards at all times. Observe all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations. Attend any training that has been set up to aid your personal development.

The Person:

Applicant must:

Have at least 1-year of previous waiting/bar experience.

Barista trained. Have a passion for the hospitality industry, great food, and great service. Be an excellent team player with a positive and friendly attitude. Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work morning, daytime, evenings, and weekends. Have strong communication skills and be able to multitask. Have a sense of pride in the delivery of high standards of presentation and the Galgorm Collection brand.
