The Hotel
The Leopold Hotel is a unique four-star Sheffield hotel. Centrally located on Leopold Square amongst an array of upmarket bars and eateries, our historic property offers a quirky yet luxurious place to meet and sleep. Each of the hotel's 89 en-suite bedrooms is uniquely furnished, offering every modern amenity for the discerning visitor.
The Role
We are seeking part time experienced Food & Beverage assistants for our centrally located hotel, right in the heart of Sheffield. You will be joining our small experienced team so while experience is desirable training will be provided. Above all we are looking for someone friendly with a warm welcoming personality who will enjoy chattting to our guests and go out of their way to offer superb customer service. We have a range of flexible hours available including mid week and weekends and work life balance is important to us so please feel free to let us know what hours you are available to work when applying.
About the role
What's involved in the role:
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and experience in a hotel/restaurant or bar. They will be reliable, organised, be a good team player and have a natural flair and enthusiasm for dealing with and communicating with people.
Some duties will include;
Warmly welcoming our guests.
Guest service including bar and food service.
You will be knowledgable about our food and drink offerings and ready to assist our guests.
Stocking up the bar area and preparing for service.
Making sure our lounge , terrace and bar area are neat, presentable and clean and clearing down after service.
Handling various payment methods.
Is this role for you? Here are the key criteria we are looking out for:
Bar and / or food service experience advantageous.
A warm friendly personality, happy and caring disposition and genuine interest in people is very important.
Working in a small property involves a lot of multi tasking - you would have to enjoy that and be flexible.
Being fluent in English is essential for this role.
