A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A

FOOD BEVERAGE ASSOCIATE (Casual)

AT THE WESTIN LONDON CITY



In this role you will report to the Assistant Food Beverage Manager


What you'll be doing...


You will be the first and last point of contact with the guest in the hotel's food and beverage areas You will be serving guests at the table Keeping the restaurant and bar areas clean, safe and tidy Setting and resetting of tables in the restaurant before guests arrive and after they leave Liaising with the kitchen team and helping out with beverage service Learning opportunities through Mariott 4C training portals

To succeed in the role of

Food Beverage Associate

, you will need the following qualities and skills:


Wine knowledge and service. Spirits/general beverage knowledge. Excellent food service skills. Team player who can be flexible and happy to both cover shifts and work in other areas as part of their weekly rota structure. Flexible to work between different duties in the food beverage operations depending on the business need Previous experience in a similar role in a four- or five-star environment desirable. Oral written fluency in English. Additional language will be considered a plus.
