About Us
East Grinstead Sports Club is a not-for-profit charity established to provide sporting facilities for the people of East Grinstead and the surrounding area. We are a true community club -- you don't need to be a member of any individual sport or club to visit us. Everyone is welcome to come up, enjoy the atmosphere, and make use of our excellent facilities.
The Club is set in 33 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside and we are hosts here to resident hockey, cricket, football, netball, squash and badminton clubs. There are also a number of other minor sports, a gym that we opened last year (winning Gym of the Year at the National Fitness Awards Nov 24) and a newly opened Padel Centre. The footfall across the entire site is huge and the opportunities to further grow the F&B is apparent to anyone who comes to take a look.
Powered by Acorn Health & Leisure, the club is also home to two vibrant hospitality venues: the Lingfield Bar & Cafe and the LookOut Cafe & Bar. These venues are key to the experience we provide, whether it's for a quick coffee after a game, a family meal, or event catering. With the right candidate we intend to expand the F&B offerings at the site and realise the full potential.
