Overview


The West Lancashire Golf Club has an opportunity for a Food & Beverage Manager to lead the Catering & Beverage team, overseeing all aspects of our front of house operations.

The ideal candidate will have a number of years' experience in both restaurant management and customer service experience with a strong knowledge of the food and beverage industry combined with a proven track record of driving high quality and enhancing customer experiences.

Understanding of restaurant and bar health and safety and industry regulations is essential.

The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and be expected to deliver a high standard of service expected of members, guests and visitors to the clubhouse.

Regular management meetings offer an opportunity for the successful candidate to share input and feedback on moving hospitality forward as the club continues to grow. Liaising with Club directors on an ad hoc basis as and when the need requires.

Responsibilities



Oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage the bar and catering staff, to ensure high-quality food production and service. Train, supervise, and evaluate team members to enhance their skills and performance. Monitor profit margins in both food and beverage. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery across the establishment. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.

Requirements



Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality management role is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by business needs. A passion for the food and beverage industry with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
