We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to oversee the operations of our food and beverage services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for culinary excellence, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and high-quality offerings. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and enhancing the overall dining experience.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring adherence to quality and service standards.
Manage and train team members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth.
Oversee menu planning and development, working closely with chefs to create innovative culinary offerings that align with guest preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in all food preparation areas.
Assist in budgeting and inventory management, optimising resources while minimising waste.
Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with bartending staff to curate an appealing beverage menu that complements the dining experience.
Monitor industry trends to keep our offerings fresh and competitive within the hospitality market.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary operations.
Culinary background or experience as a cook is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by business needs.
Familiarity with bartending practices is an advantage but not essential.
