Duties

Supervise daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring high standards of service and quality. Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, adhering to food safety regulations and culinary best practices. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain efficient operations. Train, mentor, and supervise staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth. Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control of all food offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all food preparation areas in compliance with health regulations. Assist in developing menus that reflect current trends while meeting guest expectations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Proficient in bartending practices is advantageous. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by operational needs. A passion for providing outstanding customer service and enhancing guest experiences.
