We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring exceptional service standards, and maintaining food safety and quality. Previous restaurant, hotel, or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the food and beverage team to ensure smooth service delivery.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
Manage staff schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to foster a motivated and efficient team.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene across all areas.
Assist in food production tasks as needed, including preparing ingredients and overseeing kitchen operations.
Serve guests professionally, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
Monitor stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies; place orders as necessary to maintain inventory levels.
Collaborate with management to develop menus, promotional activities, and optimise operational efficiency.
Train new team members on service procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.
Requirements
Proven experience in supervising within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
Previous experience in food production, serving, or culinary roles is advantageous.
Familiarity with kitchen operations and hospitality industry practices.
Good communication skills with a professional attitude towards guest service.
