We specialise in weddings and private events, hosting up to 190 guests for seated dining experiences, and are known for our exceptional hospitality and attention to detail.

Role Summary

The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a key role in the successful delivery of weddings and events at Deer Park Country House. Based in Weston, Honiton, this position supports the day-to-day operation of food and beverage services, ensuring the highest standards of service, presentation, and guest satisfaction are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all food and beverage service operations during weddings and events Lead, motivate, and manage the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding guest experiences Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow and timing Maintain exceptional standards of hospitality and customer care Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations Assist with training, coaching, and development of team members Support the management team in achieving operational and service goals

Skills & Experience

Proven supervisory or team leadership experience within hospitality or restaurant environments Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team Excellent knowledge of food preparation, service standards, and food safety Experience in a luxury hotel, wedding venue, or fine dining setting (essential) Exceptional communication and customer service skills Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities Previous experience in a supervisory role is essential
