Duties

Supervise daily operations of food and beverage service areas, ensuring adherence to established standards. Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative work environment. Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in bartending duties as required, demonstrating knowledge of various beverages and cocktails. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food production. Train new employees on service standards, operational procedures, and customer service excellence. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry is essential. Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including food preparation and service protocols. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of bartending techniques and beverage management is highly desirable. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs. A background in hotel or hospitality management is an advantage but not mandatory.
