Job Description

The ideal Food & Beverage Supervisor will be a patient and self-confident team player, who can quickly absorb the details of their role and lead the rest of the team by firmly upholding the sequence of service at The Westminster London, Curio Collection by Hilton. They will have the opportunity to work across all our F&B outlets, gaining broad experience and fully embodying the values of the Hotel, and setting a strong example for more junior members of the team to follow. They will work at the direction of the F&B Manager and the Assistant F&B Manager, and be responsible for the delivery of service in their given outlet.

Main responsibilities:



Assist in running all Food and Beverage outlets, Breakfast, Lunch, M&E and In Room Dining operations, The Cafe and The Westminster Bar & Grill. To set service standards to guests and staff within Food and Beverage outlets; including the taking of all orders, service of all food and drinks, preparation of all bills on POS System and taking payment for all bills. To ensure that Brand Standards of Customer Service are implemented on a consistent basis. To assist F&B Manager and Assistant F&B Manager in the responsibility for attaining and exceeding budget targets by efficient cost control and maximisation of revenue and helping team members do the same. To liaise with F&B Manager and Assistant F&B Manager in developing the client base of Food and Beverage outlets. To have a thorough knowledge, to trainer level, of all Food and beverage outlets operation including content of menus. To have a thorough product knowledge, to trainer level, of the entire The Westminster London, Curio Collection by Hilton F&B operations. To communicate and carry out any amendments to standards and development of the brand as requested by F&B Manager and Assistant F&B Manager. To carry out, in full, any reasonable delegated tasks as set by the F&B Manager and Assistant F&B Manager. To greet all customers in a friendly but professional manner. To ensure that the floor is manned at all times to ensure the efficient running of The Food and Beverage outlets. To communicate efficiently with Chefs, Breakfast team, F&B Management and the In Room Dining team. Complete knowledge of all items sold within Breakfast/In Room Dining and M&E, The Cafe and The Westminster Bar & Grill. To monitor and respond to customer feedback. Ensure all training is carried out in timely manner, following Quality Assurance requirements and Health and Safety procedure.
