Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Food Chemistry Laboratory Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will lead our food chemistry laboratory, overseeing a team of technicians. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge in food chemistry, strong leadership skills, and a passion for maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:

  • Laboratory Leadership: Lead and manage the daily operations of the food chemistry laboratory, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate testing, and timely reporting.
  • Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of scientists and technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results, complying with industry standards and regulations.
  • Research and Development: Stay abreast of advancements in food chemistry and related fields, and contribute to the development of new testing methodologies and techniques.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Master\xe2\x80\x99s or Ph.D. in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in a food chemistry laboratory, with at experience in a managerial role.
  • Expertise: In-depth knowledge of food chemistry principles and analytical techniques. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey complex scientific concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in a laboratory setting.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
