We're looking for a

Food Manufacturing Engineer

to join our fast-paced production team. This is a hands-on role where you'll be instrumental in keeping our manufacturing lines running smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Key Responsibilities

Carry out

daily engineering tasks

including fault-finding, repairs, and reactive maintenance on production lines.

Set up and optimise manufacturing lines

for product changeovers and ensure minimal downtime. Execute

planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

schedules to maximise equipment reliability and performance. Respond quickly to breakdowns and implement

long-term fixes

to prevent recurrence. Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment is running to standard and support continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and contribute to root cause analysis. Support capital projects, equipment installations, and upgrades. Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP). Collaborate with R&D and Quality Assurance on process innovation and new product introductions. Drive sustainability and waste reduction initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

2-5 years of experience in food or beverage manufacturing. Strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering skills with hands-on experience in a production environment. Solid understanding of process control, automation, and production systems. Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
