Job Description
KPI Recruiting are currently looking for experienced Food Operatives to join a respected food production facility in the Nantwich area. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dedicated team working across various departments in a chilled environment.
Main Duties May Include:
Labelling and Barcoding:
- Accurately label and barcode products
- Direct items to correct storage locations
- Use handheld scanners to pick orders
- Accurately scan and handle 10-50 items per order (e.g., wax cheeses, truffles, chutneys, crackers)
- Assemble hampers at a workstation using pre-picked items
- Ensure all hampers include correct products and quantities
- Prepare hampers for dispatch
- Experience in food production or packing (preferred)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable in a chilled/cold environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and organised
- Free parking
- Canteen and staff room
- Smoking shelter
- Smoking/vaping permitted only in designated areas
- Arrive in full PPE (must be worn at all times)
- No headphones, jewellery, heavy makeup, false eyelashes/nails allowed
- Hair must be tied back; all health & hygiene protocols must be followed
- Adherence to all marked walkways inside and outside the building is required
- High-visibility vest
- Safety boots
