Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Food Photographer For a takeaway restuarant in Leicester Welford Road to conduct shoots from time to time.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling and the ability to capture compelling images that resonate with our audience. This role requires proficiency in various photography techniques and editing software, as well as a keen eye for detail. The Photographer will work closely with our marketing and editorial teams to produce high-quality food images for various platforms, including social media, websites, and print publications.

Responsibilities

Capture high-quality photographs for a range of projects, including events, portraits, products, and editorial content. Edit and retouch images using Adobe Photoshop and other relevant software to ensure the highest standards of quality. Collaborate with team members to conceptualise and execute creative photography ideas that align with brand objectives. Manage photo shoots from start to finish, including planning, setting up equipment, and directing subjects as needed. Maintain an organised library of images and ensure all files are properly archived for easy access. Stay updated on industry trends and techniques in photography and photo editing to continually enhance skills. Assist in the management of social media accounts by providing engaging visual content that promotes our brand effectively. Work with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro to create multimedia content when required.

Qualifications

Proven experience in photography with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and creativity. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, and Adobe Premiere. Experience in photo editing and retouching techniques to enhance image quality. Knowledge of journalism principles is a plus, enabling the creation of impactful visual narratives. Familiarity with social media management practices to effectively engage audiences through visual content. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
