to join our team. This role is key to ensuring smooth service throughout the week. You'll be responsible for preparing all ingredients, managing stock, and setting up the kitchen so the team can deliver consistently excellent dishes.
Responsibilities
Arrive early morning on scheduled days to complete all dish and ingredient preparation
Create and follow a prep list to cover the days you are working
Order ingredients and supplies from approved suppliers as required
Receive deliveries, ensuring all products are correctly stored, labelled, and rotated
Keep the prep area clean, organised, and compliant with food hygiene and safety standards
Communicate with the Head Chef and wider team to ensure consistency and readiness for service
Minimise food waste through proper storage and planning
Qualifications
Previous experience in a prep or kitchen role strongly preferred
Solid knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking/prep techniques
Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan ahead
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in the mornings
Food hygiene certification is an advantage
